Aldi voted Top Retailer at National Irish Food Awards

Two of our Aldi Best Buys (Nature's Isle Specially Selected Angus Fillet Steak & Kilcrea Gold Active 10+ Manuka Honey) were amongst the prize winners at the recent Blás na hÉireann National Irish Food awards, while another two (McGrath's Reserve Tea & O'Donnell's Rustic Wheaten) as well as Kilcrea Gold Active 10+ Manuka Honey were voted Gold at the prestigious Great Taste Awards 2010.

Aldi recently won a total of 12 Blás na hÉireann National Food Awards and also 12 more awards at the Great Taste Awards, more than any other retailer in Ireland.

Irish suppliers, producers and manufacturers account for over 45% of all grocery sales in Aldi.

Snackrite Okey Dokeys - Think Hunky Dorys and stop thinking because thats exactly what Aldi's new range of crisps are. Priced at only €1.99 for a large variety packet of 12 bags of crisps (cheese & onion, Buffalo & Salt n Vinegar flavours). Yes thats less than 17cent per bag. These are made in Co. Meath - in the same factory as Hunky Dorys and taste every bit as good as them too.
